Water can be a tricky one to manage. Water companies work predominantly using estimates, based on industry factors such as the size of your house, and the average usage figures for houses similar to yours. Although water companies do use meter readings, unfortunately only around 40% of properties are currently metered. This means that the remaining 60% rely purely on estimates, calculated according to the value of the house in 1990! As a result, and upon the advice of the water companies themselves, we use an estimate to calculate your monthly water payments. In the case of metered houses these are then backed up by annual and biannual meter readings, however we only ever charge you for the amount passed on to us by your water company.

We manage your water bills by simply updating the billing address to our own, and then paying your water bills as they arrive. Once we receive the bill for your property, we will adjust all monthly payments to ensure you only pay the amount you would have been charged by the water company.
